{"id":81,"date":"2010-12-19T14:06:41","date_gmt":"2010-12-19T20:06:41","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/interplumbers.com\/?p=81"},"modified":"2010-12-19T14:08:32","modified_gmt":"2010-12-19T20:08:32","slug":"smart-phone-considerations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/interplumbers.com\/?p=81","title":{"rendered":"Smart phone considerations&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">I continue to work on the site in my spare time.\u00a0 It is coming along quickly.\u00a0 I prefer the simple style for a number of reasons, but most importantly it&#8217;s ability to render in smartphones quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">A simple style can draw the viewer in quickly as they are not distracted by too much going on.\u00a0 A good page layout can work by letting the viewer find things quickly and easily, navigate to what they are looking for, and get what they visited the site for to begin with.<\/span><\/p><!--CusAds-->\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">The current theme I&#8217;m using renders extremely well in my BlackBerry, it loads very quickly and looks fantastic compared to other sites viewed on it.\u00a0 Unless you use Opera Mini, or have a large screen smartphone browser, websites can look horrible, a real mess.\u00a0 Even on a newer smartphones, cluttered or busy-looking sites do not look good.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">This can be a huge advantage and should be considered during the first stages of web design.\u00a0 Mobile users are the fastest growing market right now.\u00a0 The ability to get information to this market should be a priority for anyone.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial;\">Back to work&#8230;.<\/span><\/p>\n<!--CusAds0-->\n<div style=\"font-size: 0px; height: 0px; line-height: 0px; margin: 0; padding: 0; clear: both;\"><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I continue to work on the site in my spare time.\u00a0 It is coming along quickly.\u00a0 I prefer the simple style for a number of reasons, but most importantly it&#8217;s ability to render in smartphones quickly.
